Don Champagne

Director of Engineering

Don has extensive experience working in both the Department of Defense (DoD) and commercial sectors. He has a strong background in embedded programming, having worked on projects involving the F-35, A310, and A319 aircraft, as well as machinery control systems and command and control systems for various clients.

With over 20 years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Don has excelled in developing, designing, integrating, and deploying complex software systems. He has successfully managed multi-million dollar global and domestic budgets, solved intricate business problems, closed high-value deals, and held chief-of-staff functions. His leadership experience spans engineering management roles, including positions up to the Director level, and he has a proven track record in recapturing at-risk programs. Don is also skilled in hiring, training, mentoring, and coaching staff to foster growth and success within teams.

Don holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Tulane University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering with a focus on Software Engineering from Colorado Technical University. He is a certified Green Belt in Six Sigma and has earned certification as a Certified Program Manager from Carnegie Mellon University.
