HEKA’s Nautilus Dead Reckoning IMU

HEKA’s Dead Reckoning Inertial Measurement Unit (DRIMU) is a 6-axis, waterproof (IP 67), 8 oz, compact design (1 in x 1 in x 1.5 in) and utilizes micro-electro-mechanical (MEMS) and micro-hemispherical resonating gyro (HRG) technology coupled with an advanced multi-source GNSS sensor. HEKA’s IMU is equipped with AI/ML error correction to allow for longer periods of accurate navigation in GPS-denied environments.
The DRIMU combines the best of both IMU and INS solutions. HEKA’s DRIMU drift is less than 0.1 mm/hr in these GPS-denied environments. It offers 12 hours of operation on a single charge, 50 mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery, and USB-C power and data ports.
