With over 30 years of experience in the Department of Defense’s (DOD) military airborne surveillance sector, Mike Dugan has established himself as a proven expert in the field. His visionary approach led him to establish Redstone Aviation Group, leading breakthroughs in Mission Systems integration, particularly in manned surveillance platforms. Dugan has held vital positions, including the role of Program Director for the US Army’s King Air surveillance program in Iraq and Afghanistan after serving as a Senior Logistics Advisor to the DOD during Iraq’s reconstruction.
Currently, he assumes the role of Vice President of Business Development at HEKA. Serving as a prestigious Naval Aviator, Dugan has assembled a comprehensive operational history. He has been at the helm of strategic roles with the Navy Central Command and Joint Staff, acting as an Action Officer in Bahrain and Washington DC. His piloting experiences with P3 aircraft span across the Pacific and Southeast Asia, testifying to his extensive international operational experience. Transitioning seamlessly from military service to the civilian sector, Dugan has made notable impacts as an Airline Executive, eventually ascending to the position of Airline Captain.
His skill set, combining strategic planning and program implementation, makes him a valuable asset in both military and civilian arenas. Dugan’s career reflects his staunch dedication to excellence and underscores his significant influence on the convergence of military, aviation, and business sectors. Away from professional realms, Dugan enjoys tennis, is fluent in Italian, and has proficiency in Spanish. His current residence is with his family in Satellite Beach, Florida.
